Private lessons are Debbie’s preferred and proven avenue of training, as opposed to classes or group sessions. With over 25 years of training different types of dogs, Debbie has developed unique and varied methods of training, and can quickly determine what is the best course of action for YOUR dog. This is not a “cookie cutter” approach, but rather, a specific, individualized course of action designed for your particular needs and issues. By passing this knowledge on to you, and teaching you how to work with your dog, Debbie gives you realistic methods to correct current issues and prevent any future unwanted behaviors.

Puppy Training
Start your puppy off on the right paw! Use positive reinforcement to establish your foundation training, built upon a trusting relationship. Avoid the common pitfalls associated with training your new puppy. Puppy training covers the following topics, plus much more:
- house breaking
- chewing/destructive behaviors
- excessive barking, digging
- proper use of collar, leash and crate
- appropriate toys
- socialization
Adolescent / Adult Dogs
Whether you have rescued or purchased an adolescent (+1 year of age) or adult dog, or just need a refresher with your current pet, or have recently added a new pet, this training program can help you as well!
Training covers the following topics, plus much more:
- obedience
- destructive behaviors
- leash walking
- socialization
- proper interactions with other dogs
- reactivity
- issues within the multi-dog household
- barking
- behavior modification

- 1 hour Initial consultation at your home: $170
- 1 hour follow up lessons: $125
It is usually recommended that the client and dog have at least 3 follow up lessons to ensure that the training regimen is being followed correctly.
